Was this a Bargain??
Well I was watching this Item. I thought when it got to £50 it was getting a bit too expensive for me. After all its only a wooden box. Its even made
from Pine and not Oak or other exotic hardwoods.
I Still cant believe what it went for
Linky to Item

Antique tools etc. are a real boom area - You'll be amazed at some of the stories you hear of the grubby thing in the shed fetching £££
If you pay peanuts...

These are nowhere near being 'vintage'. They are still being made!!
Shows how some people have too much money!!

It's still a nice piece of craftsmanship no matter how you look at it. You don't get dovetail joints on anything under £400 nowadays
unless it's made in India. Were you going to keep your Halfords spanners in it?
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Nope, its for the Engineering tools like verners, and small precision tools.
They are just nice boxes... but not at that price!!
