16mm to 19mm reducer
hello, im just working on my cooling system and i need a 16mm to 19mm reduced to connect the water pump to the expansion tank. any ideas where i can
get 1 from? thanks
It will fit wheres me hammer?

i used copper for all mine. 16mm is a 15mm pipe with an olive compressed on, 19mm is not far off the outside of a 15mm solderring fitting. Its a bit
of a bodge but it gets the job done. Mine lasted many trackdays with a lot worse things done than that! Such as a 28mm fitting soldered inside a 35mm
pipe!

As you only need a small decrease in size, how about wrapping some self-amalgamating tape arount the smaller spigot?

if you get a small piece of stainless 16mm tube and a piece of 19mm x 1,5mm tube it should be easy to get it working..

Turn the above Merlin part upside down and it will be an increaser then!! "Samco" will of course be not so easy to read though!!!

well its not like i could go to a motor spares and ask for an increaser. i might get funny looks.
