don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.

An Anglia with bubble arches and 'Carlos Fandango' wheels just looks plain ridiculous sorry.
Give me a lowered Anglebox with 5.5Jx13 steels or Rostyles and subtle 'twincam spats' and a smidgen of negative camber up front anyday. That is how God meant an Anglia to look and that look cannot be bettered!

Agreed!! I bought some Escort wheels from a guy in Wakefield who had totally rebuilt one for historic rallying. It was absolutely spot on and in that light blue (Caribbean Blue?). He had got hold of proper old Lucas driving lamps and a few original Don Barrow and Paddy Hopkirk bits. It was slightly lowered and was on Lotus Cortina steels. Proper job!!

I think it looks the business, especially with those wheel arch bulges. Wheels should be polished Wolfrace slot mags though.
