Front Lights

Looking on ebay for some wider wings and came across these. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WIDE-CYCLE-WINGS-KITCAR-or-TRIKE-locost-westfield_W0QQitemZ230279298164QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item230279298164&_trkparms=39%3A1 %7C66%3A2%7C65%3A1&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14.l1318

Now if you were to put a set of lights into these for the front how would the MOT man see these. Do they have to be fixed ? or can you dispense with the bug eyes and go modern with directional beam for the corners ?

Without checking I would say that only main beam or spotlights would be legal as dip beam could be considered to be insecure as in not fixed? Main beam alignment isn't checked for MOT.

Whats more worrying is that i knew a guy that bought a pair of these off ebay and the quality was shockingly poor so unless he's made a new mould or its someone else selling near identicle wings i'd stay well clear!
