I know a bloke who fitted a brand new one of those to his Mk1 then drove off down the road for a test drive - after about 2 miles it welded itself
solid.
They do that if you don't put any oil in apparently

Let me work this out. Uncle Ron can build his car for £250. So for that money, in theory, one could build 13.8 cars
