Fiat doblo or whatever ?
I know but anyway, it looks to fit the bill for what Mrs wants, 1/2 van, 1/2 car so anything to look out for, other than a mask ?
Looking at 1.9 diesel version so what do you guys in the know think or an alternative, needs good rear load space like the doblo or whatever its
called as ?

I know of a few folks with those Berlingo things. All dog slow!!! The HDi is supposed to be better. Apart from that, and the french bit, they seem to
be OK. Oh, and they bust suspension springs just for fun...

We've got a Connect and wish we'd kept the Berlingo.
The Connect is the most uncomfortable thing I have ever driven. Me and another chap at work pestered the boss (my father!!) to buy a Renault
trafic. Unfortunately he listened to the Ford lover (who is also unimpressed by it!)

Get a Berlingo, we have had one for over 5 years and 100k+ miles now. Only the 1.9D and fast it isn't, but comfortable (650 miles in a day is
quite regular, this Sunday being the next one) with a great ride and reliable with the exception of the sump rusting through recently. For what it
does it is great, even handles pretty well, but I have never explored the limits of grip - not sure what would happen with such a high centre of
gravity and not what it is designed for anyway.

I know a lot of people knock the French
vans, but we've had a Kangoo for 5 years.
Done 80k & very few problems. It is a dci80
and surprises most with its performance, (I
wouldn't buy the entry level anything though).
Keeps up with the boy racers. Comfortable too.
