been trying for ages to get an avatar on,without any luck .can anyone explain how to do it

The properties of the little red cross in a white box are "http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/photos.php?action=showphoto&photo=55 chevy.JPG"

I guess that is what you put in on the control panel?

What you want to put in is

"http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/upload/55%20chevy.JPG" without the ""'s though!

Although personally I'd make it a bit smaller first. Might be a bit wide for some.

Yup, tis a bit big for an avatar - resize it to 200 pixels wide and then right click the pic in your archive, then plonk the properties text into your profile

Hi if your using that link in your avatar box it wont work because thats the address for the whole page not just the image.

If you right click the image itself on the page, go to properties and copy the image address from there, thats the one you need to paste.

You get

http://locostbuilders.co.uk/upload/MRJihad.jpg

Try using this instead

That's a good point, just noticed I cant view any of the avatar's - any ideas
