i'd like to think it'd be done for end of feb early march (ish) as i said before it's just the wiring thats doing my head in, once thats done it'll soon be done, yours is looking well chris, when do you reckon yours will be done? bring on the summer!!!
just that nothing's really marked up. things like that, maybe if i spent more time in't garage instead of out on the lash in sheffield i'd get a lot more done!!!!
looking good kev, nice choice of wheels & tyres
Whats the model number of them wheels any idea on weight??
Kev,
Likewise, nice choice of wheels.
Have you had any probs. with fitting the rears re. fouling centre caps?
Simon
Name of the wheels are Wolfrace Steet Octane. As to weight would like to kow myself as Im after a set
Believe Wolfrace wheels are not exactly light - look superb though!
Edit: Before anyone thinks I'm 'havin a go' please seem my wheels!

no probs apart from having to fit longer wheel studs all round would've been fine with the standards i think but just a bit of over kill, not too sure on the weight but a damn sight lighter than my old TSW multi-spoke thingies! can't wait till the summer!!!!
Kev are those on 15's

Welderman, did you have any fitting probs? How did you resolve?
Believe original owner of Kev's car experienced fitting probs on rear.
Thanks,
Simon
There were no problems at all, fitted ok.
yeah they're 15's are those ones 17?
Yep 17's. How the build going the kev. You still want the swaged tube?.
The only probs was the rear centre caps, hub shaft was pushing it off.
Simple cure, hacksaw off the excess on the shaft so it was flush with the hub nut.
Then cut out a hole in the cap then fit the wolfrace sticker thingy on
Job done!
Jasalarms, thanks for the feedback.
Simon
No Probs, even tho Kev has her now, im still on here 2 see you guys battling on!
yeah jo if you could do me that joint that'd be great, need it for those bloody annoying noise limits next year!!
todays purchase!!!!

Rescued attachment 4 point harnesses web 2.JPG
Those harnesses look great!!!
Don't think they are SVA compliant though Kev - although I may be wrong
should be hellfire you thinking about the metal adjusters? they are fia spec!
on securon website they are £170 each, i can get em 220 a pair if anyone's interested?
seats look good Kev. Will make up tube next week.
thanks joe, does anyone know as to why my belts might not be sva, they can be undone with one hand.
sounds stupid but thyis was raised on another site FIA run higher spec than EU but if it ain't got E2 sticker on they won't have it...
somethink to do with the catch not the belt.....And ease of removal by emergency services....I asked local fire brigade and ambulance and there reply
was we don't undo buckles we cut the belt away completely
only advice is fit E2 approved for SVA and then like everthing to do with these cars fit what you want.
tony
they have an orange tag on them that says FIA spec till 2009,
