Will the SVA examiner fail me for having a cracket steering column bracket. The bracket holds the column to the chassis with out any movement.

I expect so.

You really don't want to lose your ability to steer.....

It would be bad.

I think if the tester sees it, it will make him very worried about the rest of the car.
