Anyone know where to get adapters to fit ford wheels to vauxhall viva hubs?
I've got a viva front uprights and hubs but have a english rear axle.
So would like to fit 4 wheels that look the same.
2 possibilities: fit adapter that go from the 4x4" to 4x108 or replace the front end by escort uprights and brakes. Though the viva setup is nice
and light.
How about re drilling the Viva hubs 45 degrees from the originals?
Try Berrisford Chassis and Components....does an alloy hub to fit Viva stub axle drilled for both Ford and Vauxhall, simply fit studs to the holes required.

I am in much the same position as you, GM front end and Ford rear. I decided that since front and rear wheels were going to be different rim widths there was no point in worrying about hub interchangeability. My wheels are Compomotive CRX and look identical, just ordered different stud PCDs.
Getting grey hair here now.
Got a pcd adapter from berrisford, turns out it is 4x100 pcd to 4x108pcd while the viva hubs are 4x4", so bought some wobble nuts M12x1.25 but
you guess right, the studs are 7/16 unf. Argh!
Searching for 7/16 unf wobble nuts, no chance
So got 3 routes now:
-forget the whole adapter thingy and buy 4x4" wheels for front and 4x108 rears (can't use the wheels i have then )
-replace the 7/16 unf studs with M12x1.25 studs (possible drilling out the stud holes )
-Get a new hub machined by berrisford with 4x108 pcd (probably most expensive)
Too many solutions and already put too much effort in the wheels.

Would either of these options be cheaper than new wheels or hubs and simpler than changing the studs?
1. Have adaptor plates (4x4" to 4x108mm) made
2. Have 7/16" UNF wobble nuts made
Love the wheels BTW

You can redrill to ford pcd it is close but i had no problems
RWD Kadette/Chevette/Ascona hubs may fit the Viva stub axles that should give you a 100mm PCD using bolts rather than 4" with 7/16" studs which should be easier to make adaptors for

Yes viva hubs, it was about 10 years ago we just redrilled the stud holes next the existing ones because you can,t do it at 45 degrees
