Clamps

Just wondered what people used to clamp the metal before welding?

I have got a couple of those magnet right angle ones, but i know i need plenty more.

How many are needed/advised?
What size of clamps?
Are there any ones to stay well away from (i was thinking plastic ones as they may melt )?

I prefer not to use the magnetic clamps- I find the magnetic field effects the splattering of the molten weld (which is ferrous and therefore attracted to the magnets). Each to their own but I prefer normal welding clamps....

Welding clamp, Small 2" G Clamps, but also spring clamps, ones you see holding tarps on market stalls.

G clamps of quick release clamps. got magnets but never used them - the magnetic field can also distort the arc.
