I've got the 180 and can find no fault with it. The torch is not the euro type, so maybe changing or repairing it wouldn't be so easy, but it certainly works just fine.

I got it for about the same money as your link shows, it was a returned and repaired new unit from a firm in Essex which specialises in returned Sealey stuff, but I can't find their name at the moment.

get in touch with a guy called weldequip on the mig welding forum this guy is poo hot can beat most prices just tell him what you need and how much you can afford

I can recommend weldequip, got in touch with him on mig-welding.co.uk.

Unsure if that welder is a turbo or not, but it is best paying a little extra for a turbo fan, as you can weld for longer.

I was going to buy a clarke 160 te from him, and was £255 delivered - unsure if the price is still the same - but got a second hand one from ebay - but brought all wire, helmet, regulator etc from him - extremely fast delivery

recontooling is the sealey guy on ebay got a nice electric hoist at the moment

Wouldn;t touch it mate. ....


Had a SIP 150 (looked similar) lasted about 2 Years then gave up. When it did work it would cut out alot due to a poor duty cycle.
