Hi all,
Will be getting my newly balanced and re-valved Potechs back from Procomp soon and will be setting up the cars suspension, ride height, camber etc etc
etc with a knowledgable buddy.
To save us getting in and out of the car very five mins fo 6 or so hours what could I use to replicate a driver and passenger body weight?
was thinking a few bags of sand but didnt know if anyone else had other suggestions instead?
Cheapest item possible, maybe use sand and then just return it to b&q as not wanted! lol
Plastic jerry cans full of water. 1 litre = 1 kilo. Adjustable and free!!
bricks
dead bodys
one pinto
2ndvote or water - bet you wished you had saved those 2 litre platic coke bottles now.
or buy tesco valuye water - was 19 p for 2 l (2 kg) probably cost less than sand and you can drink it.
or as you suggest, bags of sand, keep[ receipt and return.
just been on thr b&q site.
stupid question time (its a friday and i am hung over)
how much does a bag of builders sand weight? its bloody cheap
BEC drivers ego? Usually in the region of 80Kg IIRC
^__^ jk
buy 25kg bags of sand from b&Q (approx 3 per driver/passenger).
dont slit the bags and take it back when your done

you would need ALOT of plastic jerry cans and have the balancing skills of i circus act to carry this one out successfully!
My vote is for bags of sand, put a sheet over your seats to avoid damage/scratches
