I had a grinder with variable speed which I used on the lowest setting for polishing/ buffing paintwork with no problems
Ive used a simular item as in the OP to fitt a buffing mop to a bench grider for cleaning up brass. But i would agree that for polishing paint, unless
its a decent variable speed job, an angle grinder would be to fast.
Often though about using a orbital sander....
Daniel
Depends on what you plan to polish. No good for paintwork, but if you are polishing metal then it would be OK
John
A dual action sander is a good alternative. You can get them cheap from Aldi sometimes then buy a head like this for it.
SORRY I JUST WORKED OUT YOU ON ABOUT THE OTHERE TYPE OF GRINDE NOT THE TWIN WHEEL TYPE
IM LOOKING A A METAL POLISHER WITH MOPS AND SOAP FOR ALLOY AND STAINLESS.
