"is the 'construction sealant' the same a sikaflex/tigerflex etc?"

Don't think so, more likely to be similar to "no nails" "gripfill" etc

I was bought a cheap laser sprit level for xmas (stocking filler) and its sh1t not saying this 1 will be but mine has a bow shape not a straingt line.

At least I have a reason for everything being wonky now

My local B&Q stocks a whole range of Sika sealants in the trade/builders materials section. Might need to be a Warehouse or big B&Q.

good call! nearest one to me is about 30 miles away, but i'll have a look next time i'm up that way

I bought some of those laser levels last year and was not too impressed cos the beam was not very visable.

However some bloke at the autosport show told me they have red couloured glasses which enables you to see the beam in daylight.

He did not have any to hand!

Anyone know about these are they special or will crappy rose coloured sunglasses do the trick?

Vindi_andy - 13/1/09 at 11:04 AM

I believe they are a certain tint to makes specific wavelengths of light more visible.

you could try screwfix or toolstation to see if they do them
