Has anyone used
THIS STUFF from Frost's, is it any good / worth using? looks like a good product, but so did POR15 and I got nowhere
with that.
Cheers.
Pete
Id have thought that if you needed that, then there is something wrong that needs to be fixed!!!
can't see the point in it tbh they seem to be suggesting using it on the thread but as its the flange that’s normally sealing the pipe it makes
no sense at all to use that product. Don't like it one bit, use it on house radiators only as it could hide for a while a connection that
hasn't been made up correcty.

Your right, the mechanical seal should be enough, never had a leaker yet, so I'll keep my tenner in my pocket....
Thats just a pot of snake oil.....keep the ten quid in your pocket.
If your brake system leaks its like telling you to tighten up the joint.....that stuff could mask a poor joint.
Definite no no as far as I can see.
Agreed...pointless, useless product.
ONLY tapered threads are meant to seal on the threads. Parallel threads always seal another way..in this case metal to metal at the flare/fitting
interface.
I suspect they may mean it's for tapered threads, but the the picture they showed is clearly wrong and very misleading.

My wilwoods seal on the taper but i used PTFE tape. £175 from screwfix
i did think about using it on the other joints, but it shouldn't be needed really
