Apart from the obvious. Touch up guns have 0.8 or 1mm apertures. Normal have 1.4, 1.7 and 2.0mm apertures. Is it just that you get a smaller "beam" of paint with the smaller apertures, or are there other differences?

the size of the paint pot, you would be forever filling up if you tried to spray a car or a panel the pot will probaly hold 100-200 ml

They work well on chassis as you can spray a narrow path and not loose great amounts of paint in the air. General purpose for sprucing up engine compartments on resale cars.

smaller reservoir, smaller nozzle resulting in smaller patch of spray.

dead handly when you want to paint small parts - you can pick them up for a tenner at car shows and probably internet.

Loads on ebay, mine was only a few quid I found it very handy -- holds just about enough paint to paint a tin top door.

I don't use mine anymore --- a HVLP gives so much less over spray and uses much less paint.
