I need to fill a few pinholes in my chopped sump and add a peice of ally just behind the drain plug to thicken it up a bit, is Lumiweld ok for this type of job and is it easy to use as my welding is rubbish.

Hi
I've used it sevceral times now.
Not that difficult to use.

Something as large as your sump may benifit in pre warming, and likely to need a lot of heat.

Would be to practice on scraps first.
