Forgot to bring in the camera but I made the GRP saddle bag holders on Saturday and for the colouring (which was what the original post was about) used crushed artists pastels rather than proper pigment powder. Well the powder is indeed totally trapped in the resin as hoped and won’t leach out, so if you need some colour and can’t wait for the normal powder just use pastels

I’ll post some pics tomorrow

Good to know. Was the colour nice and even? I wouldn't hope too hard for a colour match in the future though.

It’s just plain old black, but even if it was a coloured, matching shouldn't be much of a problem as colours are pretty much standardized. No patchiness, indeed it might as well have been standard powder, there seemed no difference at all in how it performed and mixed into the resin very easily. I used glass tissue for the first layer and it was almost solid black with just that layer.
