I'm just trying to form the Ali sill protector things and not sure how best to do it? I'm guessing that to bend it I'll need to cut
notches in the return but I can't help but feeling that will look poo!! And on the Indy are they all one piece?? ie straight along the
"sill" and then up to the rear?
Also just looking at the back panel to side panel on my Indy and the resultant "bit". I wondered if anyone has tried to use Sikaflex like
silicone and shaped it with a wet finger. I'm quite good at it with silicone as I used to do quite a bit of tiling but not sure it would work on
Sika??

it does work with sikaflex, but mask either side as it won ever wipe off and make sure the finger is vvery wet.
If youre keen, then mask it carefully and use a lolly stick to form the radius and then just polich it with your finger.
Sikaflex works very well - I have a Robin Hood and due to the shape of the screen and the scuttle, there is a gap of well over an inch at each end. With masking tape on the scuttle and on the screen surround, I filled the gap, shaped and smoothed with a scraper and ended up with what looks like a purpose made rubber block in there.
