My new Colchester Master 2500 lathe (Clicky) arrived today. Just spent the last 3.5 hours
moving a tonne of metal into position, and that was with all the right lifting gear borrowed from work. I would have been stuffed without it!
I'll put some piccies up when I have some. Just need to get it cleaned, wired up and some new belts and it should be a good machine! (Well better
than my 60 yr old myford anyway!)

Oooh - I'm jealous!
I have a 1950's Colchester Student Mk1 - a fine old thing, but not up to that standard.
I fired-up my wobbly old lathe the other dat to make to bits for my De-dion set-up. I managed to burn a hole through my upper and lower eyelids and
jab my eyeball with a hot curly bit of swarf......note to self (and others) USE GOGGLES!!!
I made these..
From a couple of these...
To go here...
