I bought a Wolf parts washer from screwfix a couple of years ago. since then it has been on my bench with 'metal cleaner/degreaser' type
fluid in it
came home from holiday at the weekend and found large puddles on the floor where the fluid has eaten through the metal!
I now have a parts cleaning sieve !

How long is the garuntee?
I brought my welder from screwfix which had a problem after about 18 months or so. They came and picked it up, repaired it and redelivered it no
charge
not sure i have the reciept or the instructions so i can prove i had the correct fluid in it
just surprised that the fluid ate through it!
No solution but I feel your pain.
I've got a small desktop Clarke unit. I filled it with some orange based solvent thinking it might be less nasty on the skin and it ate the pump,
turned it into a huge puddle of semi-melted plastic jelly.
Found an identical replacement pump, for about the same price as the whole unit was originally , turns out the pump is designed for water only, to
be used in garden water features and whatnot. No mention of that in the parts washer booklet.
I'm saving up for a proper one with a metal pump...

Made mine about 9 months ago, used an old washing machine pump and keep it filled with paraffin.
The trays are 3mm mild steel and all pipes are plastic and/or solvent resistant rubber.
So far It's worked a treat.
ps. 3mm is overkill but the trays were lying around.
