tig to plasma cutter conversion

Ive had an idea after seeing the welder/cutter in another thread.
Is it possible to use an inverter tig/mma welder as a plasma cutter if you change the torch and put compressed air to it instead of argon? or is it more involved than that?

Plasma is high voltage, low current 10,000 volt, tig is 80v high current, I do not think it will work.
