I`m making a pressing tool to fold the rear pannel on my dash.
It is 2mm ali, with both sides being folded,
hole size is 60mm, so if the pressing centre is 56mm then it will just fit through (60mm - (2*2mm)), but the bend will be so tight it will prob break the ali.
What size should i make the centre to get a good, but tight bend?

if you are using 5083 grade ali it shouldnt fracture when you bend, but you could allways anneal it first...

rub some normal hand soap on the alu and warm it gently til the soap burns,should stop the alu fracturing and almost definitely give you some burnt fingers...
