Milli-grip adjustable spanners
designer - 17/12/09 at 11:06 PM

I always believed that adjustable spanners had no place in the workshop, they were only for pipe fitters and plumbers.

Have bought Milli-grip adjustables and I have changed my mind. they are brilliant.

Beautifully quality and precise in use.

Thought they were s**t myself till I was given a Bahco jobbie.
Not tried a Mili-grip one.

Watch the video on their page for a demo of how ham fisted you need to be to use one

Having looked at that I see that it is in fact a 'metric' adjustable . No more sending the apprentice to look for the metric adjustable spanner and a tin of elbow grease then

Confused but excited. - 18/12/09 at 01:03 PM

^ Yep!
"precision jaw setting in 1mm steps "
So no good for my old bits then.

Imperial ones on the way, I think.

screwfix sell the bahco ones from 14". Damn fine tool IMHO.

I'm quite sure that I'd break it, I do most tools.

Got Bahco 8", 10" and 12", Irega 15" and 18", and a Facom 4" and 18", non of those slip. Buy cheap=get cheap.

And don't trust Britool ratchets!
