Seized blanking plug in engine.

My xflow has a most annoying bronze blanking plug seized into it.

Been fondling it with plusgas with no luck, what next?

Cheers

what is it plugging? is it an oil gallery or part of the water jacket?

Let it be ---

Do you mean a coreplug?
Why do you need to remove it?
The usual way is to make a hole in it and then lever it out

nope, thready in doohickey, for oil pressure gauge.

Wouldn't that normally be a taper thread? If so could just be FT

I got the bastid!

Heat (lots, and lots of it) + Lump hammer x 24" cheater bar = Victory.

Turns out it was the water jacket. Arse.

A lump hammer will always sort things out; one way or another!

Damn right.
