M14 Countersunk high tensile set screws?
alistairolsen - 16/5/10 at 07:21 AM

I need some of the above, not sure if my terminology is correct but they need to look like this:

Around 40mm long.

If M14 isnt available, any thread I can tap into a similar sized hole and is commonly available will do.

Any ideas where to get some?

Cheers

Not helpful unless you need 100 and have a good budget, but they certainly exist.

M14 is too big for relatively rare configuration to be cheap. M12 is the biggest common size (as you can see from the price differential http://www.cromwell.co.uk/QFT6041004E )

A good local fastener supplier should be able to help for smaller quantities.

Used these in the past (mixed bags very useful) :

cheers guys, I know 14mm is an odd size, but they are to go into holes where a hammer fit m12 stud has been......

Hence i dont care about the thread as long as i can get a tap, but the diameter has to be in excess of 13mm.
