Can i just remind people NOT to wear baggy jumpers,sweatshirts etc when using this with the wirebrush attachment !
The bloody thing got as far as my throat before it stalled out and started smoking
fortunately i had two sweat shirts on so no damage done (though i did age about ten years )

ouch yes i do remember reading the lathe accident post it struck a cord tbh , I,m a jobbing machinist by trade (lathes,millers,gearcutting and vertical and horizontal boring) and i should have known better when using power tools
You too. I should of known better, good job I was only a colchester student and not on the massive 10 metre long lathe, or a vertical borer when it comes to that...

i did, but it was a cheap angle grinder, so it stopped working, so, no damage done
