Gas regulator Clarke MIG 151TE
RedAvon - 18/6/10 at 11:17 AM

Advice please - have a new Clarke 151TE with the small gas bottle and regulator shown and i want to swap to the big bottles using the full size regulator.

The pipe on the MIG is only as big as a straw and disappears into the welder - I guess i would be best to swap this for 6mm pipe?

what bits do I need and should i take the welder apart to swap the tiny pipe or does this go all the way to the nozzle?

Thanks

There are conversion pipes available like this one , then you need the regulator & bottle.

I have this regulator - if the pic appears - if not its a Saffire with pressure and flow dials.

i have same welder as you, i just extended the 4mm nylon line with push fit straight coupler, and then connected into regulator with appropiate push fit pneumatic fitting
