I seem to remember someone saying that the standard regulator that comes with the Clark Mig welders is rubbish and should be replaced.

Was that correct? I cannot find the thread anywhere.

We have been having some trouble with ours. Does anyone know what the best direct replacement would be?

eBays full of them.

They all look much of a muchness. You can pay more for one with a gauge.

The main issue I've had with them in the past is the rubber washer to seal the top of the bottle.
