Is that why everywhere seems to be out of stock?

Dont think they do replacement brushes for the type of grinders i buy Always wondered is it worth spending £40-50 or so on a branded grinder or do they all have a short life? If not, £13 from tesco it is!

I have a Makita, 50 quid from Screwfix.
It's now 3 years old and gets used every day.

I doubt if a Tesco one would ever last long enough to need the brushes changing;
but you can buy 3.5 Tesco grinders for the price of a Makita.

Decisions, decisions.

It's not back to the daily grind for you then Wickes have a Makita for just under £50 if you feel flush. I bought a couple of cheap ones from Screwfix years ago and they came with a spare set of brushes but both are still going on their first set.

A classic case of lack of use mate.

I did own a cheapie once, but it had end float in the spindle. It was a nightmare trying to cut to a line with a slitting disc.
