Gents,
I've enrolled on a welding course at Moulton College, prospectus here, its course BC83 (half way down the first page of the courses):
http://www.moulton.ac.uk/downloads/Moulton-Part-time-Prospectus-2010-2011.pdf
I've also attached the Syllabus.
It starts Tues Jan 4th 2011, its 2hrs per week and runs for 10 weeks.
It costs £170 + £8 campus registration fee.
There is another chap I know on it, but a mate has decided not to go on it and I've heard that unless they get a couple more bookings it might be
cancelled due to lack of interest (they have to get a minimum number to make it viable).
So I have a vested interest
I am likely to miss a few of them due to work commitments but have bought a 2nd hand MIG set and big CO2 bottle so I can have a play in between
lessons.
Contact the college direct to book but if you do can you send me a U2U? Just so I know. We can always meet up for a beer afterwards or similar
Hmm. Where has the attachment button gone?
I was emailed the syllabus so I can't post a link unless I host it (CBA), so here is a cut and paste of it:

Thats a bargain and I would recomend anyone who diy welds to take a course.....your welding will never be the same again.
Rather than wasteing your expensive gas learn properly and it make life a lot easier when a pro reshapes your whole technique.
Dave and I have been doing a welding course up here in Edinburgh and what a great thing to do..best thing I did all year.
Too far for me (90 mile round trip), but otherwise I would have been in on that. Very good value.
