MonkeyHunter - 3/7/04 at 02:05 PM

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows where i can get a plier type piston ring compressor, i have tried loads of places, but not had any luck I have a draper spring steel ratchet type compressor, and i cant get the pistons in with that, the rings always catch... If anyone knows where i can get one, or has one they could lend me for postage and a couple of beers, id be eternally grateful as my engine is currently stranded in my front room!!

I used rolled up thin steel sheet and jubilee clips and EP 90 gear oil to aid the sliding!!
