Good garage fiddle day today
RichardK - 27/3/11 at 06:38 PM

Have nearly finished my welding trolley that I started last Sunday in a desperate attempt to keep my garage tidy after buying my tig set which I've yet to try! Should have practiced on this but just wanted it done!

Just need to make a small box to go on the side for small bits like shrouds and tips, find a way of securing the bottles to the back better and then paint it and jobs done.

Any tips or mods to be done would be welcome before painting please

Cheers

Rich

Thinking of putting some tubes down the side to hold the different sizes of filler rods i'll have.

Any other ideas for "Pimping my Trolley"

I would look at adding a small water tank, gallon or so and central heating pump then get a small water cooled TIG torch off Ebay.

Get one with 10ft lead, the torches are much lighter and more flexible + save having to chase the work with the trolley.

As a bonus how about a folding table hinged at the top on one side, when you TIG it is much easier sat down so for those little jobs a little attached table would be pretty cool.
