Only issues I've had is getting the powder coat to stick to the underlying metal, it all started peeling off in sheets when I tried it. The was after sanding and degreasing the metal surface as well, but I was trying to use a hot air gun (which the manufacturers say is possible for small parts). The company themselves seemed ok, delivery of the powder coating system was a bit delayed but they supplied additional powder for me pretty quickly.

Bought mine at Newark, was spanking clean and new. The paintgun/wall paper stripper heating method also worked ok for me. I did get some peeling on my first attempt, I put this down to lack of degreasing, holding the heat gun too close to the component or not letting the powder fully cure before moving on to the next item. On the second attempt it worked fine, I found that you had to heat the area for a distance that took a while, then once that started to cure, you could carry on aiming at that area but a little closer and the heat would transmit along and start curing further along, you could then slolwy move along the part.

I also emailed them some pictures of my results and they sent me some free powder.
Check my archive for my results.

We sent them pics and were going to buy more powder but there was some hitch in that they weren't equipped to deal with schools still waiting about 3 years later.
We use an oven and get pretty good results , bits that were too big that were cured with the door open are showing signs of peeling along leading edge of wing protectors but still a good kit.
