Afternoon all.

I've spent a while now trying to get Google to tell me where I can find a CO2 gas supplier near Banbury, but it's getting annoying and just bringing up shops in the North.

So before I throw something pointy at my PC, does anyone know of somewhere I can get 14lb pure CO2 gas bottles for welding somewhere near Banbury or Coventry? I don't use enough to bother with BOC or any of the main suppliers, so I need somewhere that with low/no deposit or rental charges.

Phone your local welding supplies place and ask them.

Mine does have a contract to supply someone like BOC, but they also do their own CO2. You buy the bottle and just pay to get it refilled. Something like 30 quid for the first time and 15 quid each time you need a refill no matter how long it is betwee fills.

(ok, i've not had mine filled in a couple of years so it may have gone up).
