Where's the blood

See what you mean, that off cut could have fallen on his toe! Put a high viz on and it would all be OK.

Oooohhhh, that's how you get a 30mm wide cut with a 3mm wide blade...

F**K that, i see why its called a limb saw, there`s a good chance you`ll loose a few limbs if you use it.

Should have a label 'Danger of Death' on it.

Lovely tools - made in an era when people knew it was dangerous to put their arms/fingers etc in the way of a sharp blade and didn't need an instruction manual telling them not to cut their nails with it

I've used the 'real mans' version of that first saw - 30" diameter blade driven by a tractor PTO. There was a time when nearly every farmer seemed to have one for making fence posts etc.. The noise they make when they're running at speed makes the hairs on the back of you neck rise! I always had a (maybe not so) irrational fear that the blade would come off and chop me in half on its way out of the barn- I dont thing the kevlar jackets and safety boots would have helped much.
