Silverline Battery & Charging Tester
britishtrident - 13/1/12 at 04:44 PM

My old Nolten battery load voltage drop tester was getting past it at 40 years old it had earned its retirement and every time I used I had to spend 20 minutes fiddling and fettling it to get it too work.

As replacement Nolten would cost cost nearly £140 I bought a Silver Battery & Charging System Tester off it works just fine and for £16 to £20 is great value. A high discharge rate voltage drop tester is essential for diagnosing a battery/cold starting problem.
everybody should have one -- it can save you guess work before replacing a battery or alternator.
