Not sure if this has been posted or people know about it, but I thought this was a good video (decent quality, understandable etc... even if it is
upside down.)

I'll be having a go soon on some parts, will be interesting to try the hose method against using a parafin sprayer and dedicated shot blaster
gun.
Anyone know where to buy buckets of baking soda?
Chinese supermarkets sell it in biggish bags.

Excellent, id be interested in the results (How much effort Vs Benefit).
You can buy Sodium Bicarbonate from most chemical suppliers like Brenntag, as it is used in vast quantities as an alkalinity increaser in swimming
pools.
I'm as tight as the next guy... but that's NO substitute for a Vapour blast result... although shops charge for that, it's worth every
Cent.
A DIY waste o' time/detour basically
He used 1/3 of a 5kg tub on a small bracket? How much will I need to do my engine!

Mate, between us, I was going to get a 25Kg bag.
I posted this somewhere else, but the baking soda(sodium bicarbonate) used by my local blaster is nothing like the extremely fine and powdery cooking
stuff.
The blasting soda is course, almost the size of rice, maybe half or more the size of a rice grain.
Cheers,
Nev.
