Filling Small Hole in CF...

I had to drill a couple of 5mm dia holes in a carbon-fibre tub to locate an ali insert (stopped at the ali surface).

I won't be using the holes, so want to seal them up. I've filled them with superglue (see pic), but was wondering if I should have used something else???

too late, it's a scrapper, you'll have to sell it cheap to some un-suspecting locoter!!

Honestly, the best adhesive would be a good epoxy. Branded epoxies are better. Super glue is very poor at keeping water out, and as you are in Scotland that might be a concern.

Cheers. I'll clean it out and replace with some epoxy goo!

YOu might want to fill the epoxy a little, to make it less brittle. You could try sanding the backs of the parts lightly, and mixing the dust with the epoxy to stiffen it up, and to blen in colour wise. It wont be perfect, but better than superglue!

Thanks for that!
