Adding a leading chamfer to a gear; who?
TimC - 2/7/12 at 07:17 PM

I'm not sure what section to put this in but...

Does anyone have a contact that can add a chamfer to a gear for less than about £30?

Thanks,

Tim

Do it yourself on a belt sander.

Or make a jig and put a sanding disc on your grinder.

wouldn't you need to put it back through some kind of surface treatment afterwards?

Thanks

Depending on what you want to do, then I can do that for you....

Assuming you dont want it case hardened again afterwards. Depends on the use of it.
