I used to get cards inviting me to VAT free evenings at Machine Mart but never when I wanted to buy something

Now I need to spend £180 on a 3hp 4 pole single phase motor is there anyway I can get an appreciable discount?

You just missed one, it finished at the beginning of the week.

Locostbuilders had a 10% discount but I think it's ended now.

Hang about for a week and it may save you cash! The discount sessions are coming round with increasing frequency - I am guessing about every 3 weeks or so , they have also relaxed it into normal shop hours or even ordering direct off web with a window of about 4 or 5 working days. I get mailed at work and home so no chance of forgetting!
