I just found an oldish battery booster type thing at the bottom of a shed here, apparently it works, it's just missing a charger.
I'm guessing I could just hook it up to a normal car charger through the charging socket with a bit of bodging and do it that way, any ideas?
Cheers

It is really just a box with the cheapest possible Chinese made motorcycle battery inside, at the best of times these batteries ain't dependable and if has been lying uncharged for any length of time the battery will be foobarred
We have one of these for camping, 12v soldering iron and jump battery and have used it for 7 years now no problem, it was a Machine Mart one bought vat free. Just charge them up whenever you use them and once a month when stood.
