Sent these pictures to my son, who was helping a friend rebuild a couple of brake calipers, and couldn't get the dust seals to locate. Thought that it may be of use to some people on the forum.

1st picture shows the rusty old caliper that I used for an example, (yours would be nice and clean).

2nd shows these cleaned up.

3rd shows the seal, which is slid down from the top so it overlaps the bottom of the piston, helps to smear the piston with some red brake grease.

4th shows the piston held up so the seal will locate into the groove.

5th shows the piston pushed down into the caliper, the seal will automaticaly pop into the top groove on its own. Job done.
