I'm fixing up a transporter trailer I brought. Have never really played around with trailers. Its very homebuilt with unknown parts. Two drums are knackered. I also have an alko caravan chassis with decent drums.

Are most trailers drums etc compatible? I imagine they run the same 1" bearing so I can't see why not. Not sure about the back plate with the brakes. I'm pretty sure if I pull the old drum off to check it will never go back on so pays to check.

I'm also curious about filling and redrilling wheel stud holes to take 5 stud audi wheels (as used on the tow car) is this feasable?
