Looking for Permatex 85120 paint on electrical " insulating tape" or equivalent at a reasonable price, as the cost seems to multiply by four when it crosses the Atlantic.

There appears to be a uk supplier on Amazon.
Not cheap is it!
But as useful as it sounds I'm intrigued what you want if for in particular?

The main use is moisture sealing the holes left in the isulation by wire piering probes for electronic diagnostics and repairing minor loom damage.
Currently I am using 2 part epoxy glue which is not ideal.

We've just got some similar stuff at work, I think it may have been a free sample? from a company called Innotec ,I haven't used it yet but if it is the same standard as all their other products it will be good.

If you ca't find a supplier how about self amalgamating tape?

I've got some of this stuff - Liquid Tape. It's made by PlastiDip (probably the same stuff). I'm sure I didn't pay that much for it though!

Don't get a big pot, as it tends to go thick. It can be thinned, but I think the solvent is a bit exotic (Naptha and/or M.E.K.)
