I am so cheesed off with crappy ebay sellers selling total and utter poo.
My mower uses a double sided 225 tooth 8mm pitch 25 mm wide HTD belt. Searching on the application and part no gives a match and what happens -
TWICE!!
Yup, from different sellers, they send a trapezoidal section cos its cheap.
Now these "retailers" claim to be specialists and yet they fail completely to understand the difference - time wasters
Rant Rant Rant.
Feel better now - but where is there a decent belt supplier who has the foggiest idea about the products they sell??
Cheers!
Is there a belt supplier in your local town/city? Yellow Pages might help.
There's certainly a place in Ipswich that sells all sorts of belts over the counter, and this town isn't noted for its industrial customers!
I doubt they do mail order though...
I've always found these guys talk common-sense.
Whether they'll do mail order I don't know but worth asking.

My father in law works for BSL brammer. They've shorted me out a few times, take the belt down and they will measure it (various places) and supply you with one.

BSL Brammer are a great company, even supplied me with the correct hub bearings for my 1982 single seater. For belts I always use my local Fenner agent, they have belts by the mile..
