More specifically, for the spring connections, on the throttle control lever, which keeps constant speed. Alternatively, any images of how these
springs are connected to their levers.
It is an older, Honda-powered generator.

Well, I successfully re-assembled the genny, with the newly-acquired throttle governor springs. Added fresh fuel, and pulled starter.
Great - it started! …...and then coughed to stop. This is really testing my patience.
I suspect that there is some sort of fuelling obstruction, but having thoroughly clean out the fuel tank, can only think it must be in the fuel line
between tank and carb. Maybe?

Mine had a fuel tap in line....
