Where can I get this stuff in the UK? and more importantly is it any use.
I tried Frost.co.uk but couldn't find it, I was sure that is where I saw it.
I am going to cut out a section of my rear inner and outer arch on my Prelude and know that as I weld I am likly to distort the res of the panel. I
have seen this stuff in magazines but don't know if it really works. I know that I will have to wled the outer wing in very small steps to
minmise the potential damage and just thought this would be an added safety factor.
I can find it in the US - Here ->

I've welded replacement arches on several different vehicles with the mig and never had a problem that a fibre disk and a bit of filler
wouldn't fix. A 1/2" tack every couple of inches is enough to secure them, just make sure they are tight down to the parent metal and
it's clean.

thanks for the info. Order now placed.
There's another brand of heat absorbing compound called Anti-Heat which is available in cartridges and cans. Same stuff really but I think it's Merican.
