Anybody know anything about doing EuroTorch conversion to a SIP welder, the feed mech in mine is doing my head in.
I know kits are available at a cost for this type of conversion anybody know a supplier ?
Throw the machine away and get a real one....it's the only way you will get a decent weld...those cheap things are for bodge welding cars for the
MOT .....

The conversion is only the connector, you still have the same feed roller and stuff. I had a sip for a few years and it went wonky, the board for the feed was faulty and once it was swapped it was loads better. A transistor had gone and it was stop start all the time. Try any of the proper welders and you will throw yours in the bin, the difference is worlds apart. The one I've been using for the last 7 years or so is an erfi 170 and it has been excellent for the £300 I paid for it.
